JULY 2023
The goals for this day (and the next one) were to weatherproof the roof of the building that KMUN allows us to share, and get some tower work done. KMUN provided materials, we provided labor. This is part of our partnership where we are allowed to have equipment in the KMUN building and on their tower and SEARC is not charged for it.
Present this day were:
Ryan Anderson, KI7MGC
Mike Brumfield, W5MMB
Mike Gore, KA7SGB
John McKinney, KK7HAB
Dale Mosby. K7FW
Jay Murphy, KK7HDR
Dave Neys, W7PDQ
Ellen Norris, AA7EN
Brian Wilson, W6GKD

SEPTEMBER 2023
One of the things we learned in July was that there was a lot of rot at the bottom of the building, so early in September there was a work party to remove the bottom two feet of the siding and replace it. That got partially done before learning that the rot went deeper than originally thought. Over two days at the end of September that work was finished, plus there were repairs to the steel door.
This work was paid for by KMUN and led by KMUN volunteer Mark Meadowlark (Caribbean Moon host on Friday at 6 pm) and Mike W5MMB, with help from John KK7HAB, Glenda AI7SB, and Ellen AA7EN.
